REWIND: Spring Break 2009

So I am trying to upload a slide show done with iPhoto and imported as a Quick Time movie file to iTunes. I am curious if PC users will be able to see it. Can you leave a comment that you can or can't see it please? I thought it might be easier than posting pictures although the image quality is probably not as good as uploading the pictures...

The first weekend of Spring Break we went with Coach G and his gang to Shrev.eport to the El Do.rado Cas.ino. It was really alot of fun. But no pictures because I forgot my camera. All you would see is my husband losing me money and me trying to win it back anyway ;-) I just don't know that I am cut out for gambling. While it is fun, I HATE losing money. So... yeah, not as much fun as it could be if I could get over that part. But I really liked the hotel and the location. There are several other casinos near by, also restaurants and bars and across the river there is a really nice outlet mall. So even if you don't want to gamble there are a variety of things to do.

So on the second part of spring break we went to Subi.aco, Arka.nsas, to visit Bear's old boss who is the headmaster of a private school there. It is a town about the size of Dime Box but then there is this huge catholic all boys boarding school there. The school is very pretty, but its placement just seems so random! So we toured the school and then we were supposed to stay in their hotel but ended up with a really cute bed and breakfast which was a cute little house all to ourselves.

On the first day after we toured the school and the new house being built for the headmaster, we decided to go exploring. He had given us their GPS so we wouldn't get lost. We thought we would go to a winery and it just so happened there were 4 all on one road. So we basically started at the top of a hill and made our way down. They were very free with their tastings and after an hour marathon I was pretty toasty. So then we ended up eating Mexican food in I don't even remember where except that it was on the Arka.nsas river and as we were finishing up we saw a guy who had served us wine earlier. The food was not good, as you would expect but it served its purpose, and then we went back to the house and crashed.

The second day it rained. We were supposed to go to a double header baseball game but it was canceled. So we spend most of the day lounging on the couch watching basketball, reading and playing on the computer. They had wireless internet so I was in heaven of course. And Bear had a book and the Aggie basketball game so HE was also very relaxed. It was very nice. Later we wanted to go eat in Paris (see I did get to go to Paris over the break, just not the one I wanted to go to). We were going to eat a local place but they had a sign posted on the door that they were closing in 15 minutes for their daughters wedding. So we ended up at Pizza Hut instead. You can never go wrong with that...

Then later in the afternoon we made our way to Mount Magazine State Park. I wanted to go on at least one hike and the headmaster and his family were going to meet us up at the big lodge for dinner. When we stopped to get a map at the visitors center there was a wedding going on in a big pavilion next door. We can only assume it was the restaurant owner's daughter! It is a small town so it is completely possible and very likely. We thought it was funny! So then we did one hike to the highest point in Ark.ansas. You know you are so jealous! And then we did a few scenic overlooks and then headed to the lodge. And it was SO NICE! They also have a hotel and cabins for rent that are really pretty. And it looks down over a small lake below. We had an OK dinner but the most memorable part was when we went to order beer. You had to be registered or be with someone who is registered in order to drink. So we all had to sign this big book before we could order. How strange is that? We thanked them for having us and letting us stay in the cute little house and then headed back "home".

And the next day we made the marathon drive home. And it hit me that it certainly is true that everything is bigger in Texas. We crossed the border and I was happy to be back. And all the buildings and the road, the visitors center, everything was bigger and certainly BETTER. Plus we saw a Starbucks, a Sonic and real Mexican food places again ;-) I really don't think I could live anywhere else.

REWIND: Christmas Vacation, more pics

REWIND: Christmas Vacation

And no, not the Che.vy Cha.se Chris.tmas Va.cation. Although, hmmm, if I think about it there might be some similarities. AhehheHA.

This past Christmas break my parents were nice enough to take us on a trip to the beach in Por.t Aran.sas. I know a lot of people are like why do you go in the winter? Well it is a good get away and while you can't get in the water, you can still walk on the beach. Or sleep. Or eat. Or play xbox if you are Bear. Or read a book if you are mom. Or drink Mexican martini's if you are ME.

We did several things, although I don't have pictures of some of them.
  • On the way there, Bear and I stopped at Goliad to look around the church and mission. I wish it had not been cloudy because the pictures would have been better...
  • Bear got to ring the bell in the church.
  • Dad rested. He took naps and ate.
  • Amanda and Bear played golf. I drove the golf cart. It was COLD and windy. And they ended with the moon up.
  • Bear played xbox. alot.
  • I walked on the beach, drank yummy drinks, cooked and oddly cleaned the kitchen.
  • I also watched TV, played on the laptop and tried to read a book.
  • Mom read a whole book, played with K&K when they happened down at a neighboring hotel at the same time we were there.
  • Mom, Amanda and I took a boat ride over to St. Joseph Island to look for seashells. We found trash mainly and not to many good sea shells. We each found a whole sand dollar. It took me like 2 hours and alot of complaining before I FINALLY found one.
  • We went out to eat once at Castaways. It was OK. I would say skip it if you have a choice.
  • Bear, Amanda and I went looking for some bars. So we went to the new Port A Brewing company. It seemed they were out of every beer I ordered. NICE. Then we went to Sharkey's. Classy.
  • We visited the USS Lex.ington in Corpus Christi. I enjoyed it, but I think everyone else probably enjoyed is MORE. I like going to that kind of stuff and looking, but I get bored pretty quickly. We also watched an iMAX movie... now I can't even remember what it was about :-) but I bet everyone else could tell you. I was over it by that time.
  • We did have a good time and Bear says he is ready to go back.

I was really into some of the architecture/doors/walls, etc. So I took alot of pictures that probably no one else cares about. But I have had fun with them. What do you think?

And what do you think this skull and crossbones on the back of the church over a door could possibly mean? any catholics out there than can explain this?

Ok, BLOGGGEERRRR. You suck at letting me upload pictures in any goodlooking format. So I shall start a new post for pictures. LESSON. UPLOAD PICS FIRST. Then start typing. ugh...

Una mas cerveza por favor senorita!

Sernorrrrieeeeeetttaaa! That is the song playing right now. (country, so not everyone may be familiar... but eh) And how appropriate since I spent a major part of my evening looking for an all inclusive beach vacation. Hee, we can all dream can't we?*

The hubby is out of the house and it's just me for the weekend. Wow, I am so excited with all the things I want to do. And I was feeling sleepy (I guess after this long work week!) and I even made coffee so I could stay up and do all the things I have wished I was at home doing all week. So with that said, this is a caffeine induced post, so fair warning right now to watch out. Keep reading at your own risk. But I need to do a lot of updating so here goes... I think I might break it up into a few posts now that I think about it....

First, I opened this blog to the public so you no longer have to be invited to read it. What can I say, I was shy at first. But what the hey, whoever wants to read can read. What I talk about is really not too informative or interesting for the most part. But it is fun for me and that is what it is all about. So if you know someone that knows me and might be interested, feel free to invite them to read. I would like to get more comments, but then wouldn't we all I guess.

Second, I am having a garage sale next weekend with nonsoccermom. And I finally went through some clothes earlier this evening. The sad part is that some are so ragged that they will not even make it to the garage sale. I have a a throw away pile and then "I suppose it is good enough for goodwill" pile. So sad! I am scared I will not actually have enough for the sale, but nonsoccermom assures me she has alot. I hope so!

Third, I have some pictures to post. I was going through all previous posts before I opened this up to everyone and realized I never posted pictures from our Christmas break beach trip. So I will do that in a separate post.

* Bear is going to teach summer school. I KNOW what you are thinking! WHY WOULD HE DO THAT. HE HATES IT and needs a break. That is what I said too until he said we can use that $$ for vacation!! happy, happy dance :-) However, by the time we go I must be more photogenic (ie less fat). But I say that all the time... I just hope this is the time I really do something about it. -sigh-

I know I am random and totally hopped up on caffeine so this is more than a little spastic.

Vacation recap

Just kidding....  because, well keep reading.

April 20 was my 7th wedding anniversary and my lovely husband bought me an iMac.  YAY!   But the reason there are no pictures from vacation is that they are not on this computer yet.  It will probably take me a while to transfer them into the lovely iPhoto and then perhaps I could even make a really cool movie or slide show.  However I have no idea how the mac movies play with PCs.  So I will have to learn!

I am all about the learning because I am a big dork in that way.  I will sit here on my big butt for hours just figuring out how each program works.  It is entertaining, I don't know why.  It just is.

I am a little disappointed because I thought I might be able to make cool blogger templates, but sadly, to publish with iWeb you have to have your own domain name and such.  I might have to get us a bridgetandbear domain.  But that just seems silly when I can have it here for free!  We'll see... at the moment I am also completely overwhelmed by the whole deal.  To point that I am not sure I will EVER use all the features this thing has.

So in the meantime... here I am in front of my new Mac.  This is done in Bear style, Dee.  So WARNING!  Funny pictures!  Swallow your coke and get off the phone ;-)

Sadly the lighting in here is terrible (because I really look much more beautiful than this at 9 in the evening, I swear!)

Could I be any more stupiderrrrr?

Seriously, I am so done today. I have really not had the best week and I can't WAIT FOR A WHOLE MINDLESS WEEK OFF. Spring Break needs to hurry the hell up.

First, earlier this week, I think Tuesday, I was just in SUCH a horrible mood. I just could not be pleased, plus everything I did seemed to be wrong or take an eternity and everyone just SUCKED. Not anyone who reads this blog, but every single other person DID.

Yesterday I was determined that things would be better. But I still found myself spiralling down the path to rage several times and had to bring myself back. It ended up OK, but probably because I spent most of the day ignoring things or just generally being a slacker. I must use some sort of defense mechanism right? And that mechanism is AVOIDANCE.

So today didn't start off too bad, the morning flew by. But this afternoon apparently all brain cells left my body or maybe they are on an earlier than scheduled spring break themselves! I was working on a proposal and could NOT COUNT TO freaking TWENTY! It was supposed to be 20 pages, easy right? Well not for ME. The poor guy I was working with must think I am absolutely NUTSO. First I asked for 16 pages of text. Wait that doesn't work. Then I asked for 14 pages. No problem he says only takes a few second. Then I was OH WAIT I need 13! For the love of GAWDDDDD. Then oh wait something else is wrong.

Luckily, he has a sense of humor and I could do nothing else but laugh at myself. But oh my goodness. I give new meaning to stupid. And apparently fit right in with all the Aggie jokes. How many Aggie proposal administrators does it take to count to page 20!? Well just one, but after many many tries. I did tell him that luckily next week I am on vacation and hopefully, cross our fingers, when I come back I will be able to count again. But no promises.

So then I turn it all in for a final check and turns out I also did the budget wrong. EPIC FAIL. So now I just had the pleasure of contacting the poor guy again to tell him another stupid thing I did.

As I told him, vacation can NOT come soon enough!

March 4, 2009

Ok, OK, OK!

I know I suck at posting. BUT, luckily I am not as lazy as my other friends and you can see what I did for Valentine's Day at Dee's blog. It may not be fun for her to read, but for the rest of you maybe it will be!

Maybe after Spring Break I will have something interesting to say and pictures to post about what we did. Until then...

Happy New Year!

I am ready to see what you have in store 2009! I hope you bring good things ;-)
I really hope 2009 is great year for us and for everyone else.

Happy 2009!!!!!!!

Christmas Vacation

Is finally, officially and excitedly here. WOO!

Dear baby Jesus, thank you ever so much for the 12.5 days of straight vacation. Amen. Let's party!!

Seriously though, I am so thankful I work somewhere that get's these days off automatically, I hope to go into 2009 a little more relaxed and that many days off certainly can't hurt that goal!

So the husband is out playing golf (again since he played in 36 degree weather yesterday!) but I guess that is a good thing. He has spent so much money on golf stuff lately that his butt better be out there. And I told him he better start kicking some butt ON the golf course soon or I would be really disappointed. We'll see.

I am just at the house and I could be cleaning it. But who wants to really do that!? Not me. And I have had a soar throat so I feel that is an excellent reason for why I won't have done it when he gets back home. The only thing is that I kinda want to go to Ninfa's later... gonna have to come up with some reason I had a speedy recovery for that. Maybe a nap is in order? And when I wake up I feel SooooOOOOOOooooo much better? Hmm, maybe. I also have a hair cut appointment at 6 so I have to make that first. I probably should cancel and not spend the money, BUT it would look much better for Christmas if I get it cut. And let's face it, I need all the help I can get in the looks department these days. I am really looking older and it is sad.

We had Christmas at my Mema's Saturday. And then Christmas at MILs on Sunday. They went well, but it is just hard to believe they are over. Only one more official Christmas left. Then we go on our little beach trip with my parents for their Christmas. I think they are a little sad I am not making time to be with them specifically on Christmas Eve or Day. Well they are invited for Christmas Eve every year at Bear's family so that is there prerogative. And then we are going to church with them Christmas Day. But somehow I think they still felt like they wanted us to come over one of those times. But mom held it back since she gets upset with Mema thinking she has to have stuff on "The Day" for holidays and she thinks it is silly. But I can tell it kinda still bothers her. I can see how it would but that the same time we are spending 4 days with them on a trip.

Anywho... this post is really just to take up some of my time. And make another, probably the last, post for December and 2008.

Merry Christmas to the whole 5 of you who read this!!! And just so you know, this is my very OFFICIAL Merry Christmas to each of you because I decided not to send out Christmas cards this year. I decided I didn't feel like stressing about them, so well, I just didn't!

Project: Sorry that I left you hanging

The project is over and turned out OK. Excuse the the whole porch and columns on the house because I did those in 5 minutes. The 5 minutes AFTER I arrived at the party so go figure that they look kinda dumb. But I was DONE and that is all that mattered. Then I had a couple of cold beers. Love being from a small town German family where it is OK to have a keg at a 90 year old birthday party ... and drink with or in front of your preacher. HA!

So here is what it ended up looking like:

It was by no means perfect or an exact replica as I had hoped, but my husband did keep complementing me so that made me feel good. My mom thought I should have cut out all the places where windows and doors were so that they would be flush with the house "siding". I told her she could do it next time then.
Now, who wants a gingerbread house to decorate for Christmas? It is sitting on my kitchen table. I don't have the heart to throw it away but I don't want to keep it. Maybe this weekend I will finally throw it away!

Project: Why it is good to follow directions

With a title like that you might get the wrong opinion about this post. But I assure you I am probably going away from the obvious direction the title might take you.

It is good to follow directions. Things work when you follow them. Things go as planned as you follow them.

Which is why I am SOOOOOOooooooooooooooo thankful that my mom has let me stay at my house these past 2 weekends to do my part of this project on my very, very own. Hell freakin' yeah, people. I love her, she is my mom and I act SO MUCH LIKE her. Except in some ways that I hope are good ways. Like I DO READ AND at least try to FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS. And let me tell you. It works. My mom merely takes them as suggestions. And once she reads them she kinda just forgets that possibly whoever wrote them knew what they were talking about. Now maybe I am bragging a little early here... and I hate to jinx it, but so far so good on this project. And that is a wonderfully nice thing.

I finished the model and cut all the pieces apart this week. Then Friday made more gingerbread and cut out and baked all the pieces. I would like to credit some of the very good tools I used this time: A pizza cutter, a fang shaped knife I have, a Pyrex rolling pin and parchment paper. First, if I would have had the pizza cutter the first time I did this, things would have gone MUCH better. And second, parchment paper is the bomb and worth every.single.penny.

I also read online (See DIRECTIONS that might possibly be helpful to follow) that it is helpful to dry your pieces in the oven at 200 degrees over night. This worked great for a few pieces that came out softer than I wanted. However, when you do this, make sure that all your pieces are on a flat surface. I didn't have enough space in the oven so I stacked pieces on top of each other. So for most of them it was fine, but for some that were in between or on top of smaller pieces, they ended up unlevel and misshapen by the morning. So I had to redo those this morning.

Then I took a break and we went to lunch at Chili's. Gave the MIL our truck so she can finally get her wrecked car fixed this week. WOOHOO, I will be glad to no longer think about that. At least hopefully, it will all be done after this week. She has already gotten 6 warning tickets for driving like that AND anyone who wants to ride with her has to ride in the back seat. If you know her, you know this doesn't bother her in the least. Which, LOL!
So back to work... I made royal icing with meringue powder for the glue to hold all the pieces together. This is where, OMG, following the directions is amazing. A-maze-ing. It turned out perfect. Like cement! It is going to be so much easier just because of THAT. Last time I guess we tried to make our own royal icing with egg whites? Because we didn't have meringue powder or ran out or didn't want to run to town? I don't know. All I know is what we did do, IT DID NOT WORK FOR THIS PURPOSE. Maybe for flowers or something, but not this. I remember having it dripping everywhere and having to hold pieces together for 15-30 minutes to get it all to stick. This time, none of that. YYYYYAYYYYYYYY! I think there are 2 other factors here, the weather is not humid and I have an awesome mixer that made it peak like it is supposed to. I am going to have to get mom one of those.... I really think it might be an important factor.

Supplies:

I forgot to mention these supplies ;-)

The house I am trying to model. Yes is it very old... run down and dirty. I am trying to paint it in a different light. But, this is where my grandfather has lived his whole entire 90 years. So pretty cool if you ask me. If I had money, I would repair this house so it could make another 90 years.

Building.....

Done with the structural part. Sunday I will tackle the real decorating. I wish myself good luck!

Pretzels

Sunday night I made some soft pretzels. They were awesome. So awesome I ate 4 of the 6 myself. That was probably not good...

I made some with salt and some with sugar and cinnamon. The recipe is pretty easy.
1 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Coarse Salt
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and salt. Stir in flour, 1/2 cup at a time to form soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Punch dough down and divide into six parts. On a lightly floured surface, roll each into 14 inch rope. Twist into pretzel shape. Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.

Project: Not regretting it YET

So... all of you know, that I get myself into things. Somehow. Someway. I get in involved in my mom's "projects". This can be good. Or this can be bad.

I have agreed to help with the cake for my grandpa's 90th birthday. The day I agreed, I was all pumped up about it. But by the time this weekend rolled around, I was kinda dreading it. It just gets overwhelming and my mom never takes a break! She will just keep going and it eventually annoys me and then I get cranky and we get in a fight because I just want her to stop already. And she can't let some ideas go...

Saturday morning before I was supposed to leave she called to say she had my little cousin K (2.5) at her house because his mom had the flu. Well I was not happy that she wanted me to come and be exposed to the flu bug (which the doctor had said was NOT a strain they were vaccinating for this year) and I was upset with her for then taking K over to my Mema's (who just had heart surgery 2 weeks ago). So of course we got into over that. Am I alone here, am I the only person who takes the flu seriously? I do not blame my mom for trying to help KM, I am all for it, but then contain the kid who has been exposed. Sorry, but that is how I feel. BUT I was gonna go anyway.

She called back a little later and said just don't come and I know she was mad, but I said that is fine that I will stay at my house and work on it. Have I mentioned what it is yet? A gingerbread house replica of my grandfather's farm house. I have actually done it once before and I think I can do it better this time. But it is a lot of work. Luckily, we have 2 weeks to do it. So since I didn't go home, I told my mom I would get the ingredients and make the pattern and gingerbread pieces. So yesterday I made gingerbread and it has been in the fridge since then. The pattern is quite complicated and it is taking way more time that I thought it would. Which is how it goes with this type of project. However, it has been nice to just be here working on it alone. I know that sounds horrible, but I think it has been the best thing. I seriously doubt we would have gotten anything done with a 2.5 year old running around and "helping", as much as I do love him so.

So here is what I have so far. Got to use the ridiculously RED kitchen aid mixer. Oh ye-ah!

And then, I was almost done with my model. And then mom sent me the picture I needed and now I have to redo it. Oh well. I have the part without a roof all wrong. Better to know now though.

Stay tuned. This is bound to turn out interesting. There will probably be tears. And yelling. But hopefully, my grandpa will secretly like it. He is a man of few words. So if I get a smile, mission accomplished!

Finally Fall is in the Air

I don't know about anyone else, but I love this fall weather. Finally. Now it makes me want to put up fall decorations at the house, but now it is really too late. Maybe next year.

So things have been only semi-busy. We attended another wedding this past weekend. That should be the last for quite sometime. I don't think either of us have any other friends to marry off at the moment. So no more tuxes or bridesmaid dresses until one of our siblings ties the knot. Assuming we would be in those that is... Unfortunately, I don't have not even one picture form the wedding because I made the mistake of giving the camera to my husband to take pictures of them playing golf. He came back with zero pictures, my fault of course because the memory card had Disney pictures on it, and then he wouldn't get it out of the truck at the reception. Apparently, I need to teach him how to delete the memory card. GEEZ.

Also, the middle school football season is drawing to a close. My husband could NOT be happier. He says he is NEVER doing middle school football again. I am writing this down here to get witnesses and so that we can look back at say I told you so next year. Hee!

October 12, 2008

So far so good...

October is going by fast but there is also still alot left. Seems like a long month.

Last weekend I went to Fedor to spend the weekend with my mom for her birthday. Bear went to a bachelor party and we rounded out the weekend with a couples shower. We had a pretty good time for mom's birthday making Mexican martini's (wish I had one NOW) and then making fajitas. The couples shower was ok. It was a who's who of G-town and I was over it within an hour. I hate meeting people that think YOU should know who they ARE without introduction. I could care less who you are or what you do, you stuck up snobs. But whatever. I am glad to do a shower for Z&E but I think in some respects we got ripped off. I added up that we ended up spending $55 for our part. There were 15 couples. That's right, I said fifteen. We should have been able to give a shower for less than $20 per couple. But again, although this is very whiny, I was glad to do it for Z&E, we just could have done it much more economically in my book. I mean we ate hamburgers! Anyway... better move on.

This weekend mom and dad came over and dad and Bear cut down the dead tree in our back yard. It is nice to get it all taken care of. The neighbors might mind though that we have it all stacked out in front on the street and trash pick up for yard waste is not under Friday. BUT they do it too. Today we went to church and then we went to breakfast. Just been chilling since then piddling on the Internet. Such fun... no I found Hope Floats on TV. I really love that movie!

I found something cool on SouthernLiving.com. If you have a hard time finding new recipes to make for dinner and you want a grocery list that will make 5 things without off the wall ingredients then try these:

http://www.myrecipes.com/recipes/gallery/0,28548,1844985,00.html

I made the Shrimp Salad and the Chicken with asparagus recipe. The salad was good once we got it all together. The chicken recipe was great! Except I ended up putting sugar snap peas in instead of asparagus because after the asparagus was in the fridge for ONE day it was already bad. I was not happy about that. But the chicken and the sauce are excellent!! Next up is the pasta salad.

Goodbye September 2008

Well... what can I say. I haven't felt like blogging lately. September kinda got away from me and I only ended up with one WHOLE post. Woweee.

Let's get a recap (if I can remember everything):

  • First Weekend: Aggie Football started. Dee and Jason, and Maegan and Jett came to stay with us. I went to my friend Sarah's Couples Shower, without my couple of course. I saw old friends Mandi and Ashlie. I had a good time and then went back to the house to play Wii with my guests. FUN!
  • Second Weekend: Then Hurricane Ike made his appearance. We didn't get any evacuees this time, D and J stayed in H-town. For some reason I was quite glued to the television during the 'cane and then we did discover that at our house we are really blocked from at least 30-40 mph wind by the trees in the back yard. And luckily, the dead tree in the back did NOT fall on the house. Score.
  • Third Weekend: This is where it gets interesting. Bear went to NYC for the second to last Yankee's game at Yankee Stadium before it is torn down. I went to S's ring dunk Friday and night and we tried to go to NG but it was WAaayyyyyYYYY too crowded so I went home. Saturday I shopped with mom before she took me to DB for a baby shower for W and S. After the shower MIL was nice enough to let me take her car to Fedor. BUT, as luck would have it, I hit a deer (BIG buck with at least 8 points) with her car. Car needs repair, I am OK, but I naturally feel horrible. Sunday after church we went to Mema's to lunch. Then I had to head back to DB for a surprise bday party for Aunt A. (Yes I had to go to all this family stuff without MY HUSBAND. This never would happen had I been out of town and my family was having 2 things, but typical I suppose.) Husband calls just before the party starts to tell me he booked the wrong return flight and now has to find another way home. So needless to say, it was the most expensive weekend we have had in a long time.
  • Last week and weekend: I went to Disney World in Florida with mom, KM and her kids K&K. It was a blast! I had the best time riding all the rides with big girl K. She is fearless and so it made it so fun!!! I even got KM and mom to ride some big rides too. I think mom forgave me but I don't know about KM. Saturday though, Bear called with bad thing #3 (please God let it be over now) that his laptop and gym bag was stolen out of his truck. So that was just great. Sunday after we came home, I crashed and I think it took me 2 days to fully recover from the trip. I was exhausted!

I don't have all the pictures that KM took, which are better than mine. But I do have these cute pictures of K&K getting their faces painted. TOO CUTE!
